The Nantucket Memorial Airport is located on the island of Nantucket, Massachusetts in the United States. It is a public airport owned by the Town of Nantucket and operated by the Nantucket Memorial Airport Commission. It serves as the hub for Nantucket Airlines, Cape Air, and Tradewind Aviation. It is found just three miles from the town center, on the south side of the island. It is Massachusetts’ second busiest airport, following Logan International Airport. Its high traffic rate is associated with the corporate crowds that go to the island. Aside from the Island of Nantucket, travelers going to South Yarmouth, Harwich, and Yarmouth can also use the airport.

The airport started in 1930s with the advent of a flying service that flew people to and from the island. In 2009, major upgrades were initiated and the terminal’s 12,000 square feet was expanded to 18,000 square feet.
