Also known as Benares or Kashi, Varanasi is a city located in the northern Indian state of Ultar Pradesh. The city is the oldest incessantly unsettled cities, and one of the holiest cities in India. Winter or between the months of November to February is the best time to travel to Varanasi for a low temperature and calm breeze throughout the day.
