The Tulsa Expo Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma is one of the biggest clearspan buildings worldwide. It is a column-free convention space under a cable-suspended roof. First known as the International Petroleum Exposition Center, it is the home venue of the Tulsa State Fair. Other events regularly held here are Daryl Starbird’s Custom Car Show, the Tulsa Boat Show, and the Wanenmacher Gun Show.
A variety of fun things to do in the area include visiting ONEOK Field. Inaugurated in 2010, it is a baseball park named after a natural gas utility, ONEOK. It is the home of the AA Texas League’s Tulsa Drillers and USL Championship’s FC Tulsa. It has a capacity of 7,833 spectators. Another interesting site to visit in the area is Newblock Park. Facilities onsite include a junior municipal swimming pool, manicured softball field, non-manicured softball field, and Waterworks Art Studio. Inaugurated in 1927, it was named after Herman F. Newblock. It belongs to the Tulsa Parks municipal parks system. Tourists should also visit Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. Inaugurated in 2003, it serves as the hole of the soccer, and track and field teams of the Golden Hurricane. It can seat up to 2,000 people. There are lots of fine hotels near the Expo.
