Roshchino International Airport – TJM Tyumen
Roschino International Airport serves as an international airport in Russia. It is a public airport that is located 13 km west of Tyumen City, Russia and serves the area and the nearby towns. Its airport code, TJM, stands for Tyumen. Tyumen City has lots of attractions to visit. Embankment of Tura River offers relaxing experience as you view it from top. You can also enjoy bathing in the Hot Spring Avan, and discover history and culture of the place as you visit the Kolokolnikov’s Estate Museum Complex. These attractions are not far from the airport. As of August 2015, Roschino International Airport has handled two flights for domestic destinations and two flights for international destinations.
Best Time to Visit
TJM-Roschino International Airport was built in 1968. Authorities decided to reconstruct the airport in 1998. But in 2014, airlines operating in the airport were completely demolished to give way for new terminal construction. And since then it operates only by a temporary scheme. But authorities reserved future plans to regain the airport’s popularity. Gorkovka, Novoroshchino, and Patrusheva are some of the beautiful cities in Russia and is close to the airport. You can easily drive to it upon arrival.
