Sukhothai Airport – THS Sukhothai
Sukhothai Airport is a public airport serving the province of Sukhothai in Thailand. Bangkok Airways is the only airline that operates in the airport and is serving domestic flights to Bangkok. On April 12, 1996, it opened to service the first flight. The airport was ranked as the 30th busiest airport in Thailand serving 76,680 passengers in 2018.

The airport of Sukhothai has a lone runway. The airport looks more like an ornamental garden than an aviation terminal. The whole airport is refreshing with its open-air style and is designed like the traditional Thai sala style. The airport is surrounded by a beautiful patterned garden. Sukhothai Airport has a restaurant that offers an a-la-carte menu and some beverages. Coffee shops and a souvenir shop can also be found in the departure hall. THS Sukhothai is the airport of choice for passengers going to Mueang Kao, Pak Phra,and Sukhothai.
