Taxco: A Magical Colonial Town
Known as a “Magical Town,” Taxco, Mexico charms many tourists who are mesmerized by the small colonial’s town architecture, nature, and lively character. It is picture-perfect from a distance with the white-washed houses with red-tiled roofs standing out against the verdant hills and mountains, but it is just as beautiful up close with cobbled streets leading to ancient squares and colonial buildings. The dry season of Mexico is from December to April, the perfect time to visit to wander the streets of Taxco, Mexico. Santa Prisca’s Feast Day is also celebrated in January.

Take a stroll along the uneven cobbled alleys of Taxco, Mexico to explore the wealth of attractions throughout the city, including the gorgeous Baroque-style Santa Prisca Cathedral, Casa Borda Cultural Center, Museo de la Plateria, and Museum of Religious Art Taxco. Travel to top natural attractions Pozas Azules de Atzala and Cacahuamilpha Caves, the latter of which is about half an hour away.
