It was a major public airport that is located in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines and had served the major Tagbilaran area. Its airport code, TAG, stands for Tagbilaran but now used as the IATA code of Bohol-Panglao International Airport which is the replacement of Tagbilaran Airport. It was November 27, 2018 when Tagbilaran Airport formally closed and the Bohol-Panglao International Airport was inaugurated by President Rodrigo Duterte himself. All passenger services of Tagbilaran Airport were turned-over to Bohol-Panglao International Airport starting that date at 6PM onwards.
