Grant County Airport – SVC Airport
Grant County Airport is located in Silver City, New Mexico. It is a public airport owned by Grant County. It is served by one commercial airline under the Essential Air Service program but the airport is mostly used for general aviation.

Grant County Airport or SVC Airport was first dedicated on November 1951. It serves, not only, Silver City but also, Lordsburg, Hurley, and Deming in New Mexico. The airport also serves the smaller communities or “Mining District”. The first airline to begin operating flights from the airport was Frontier Airlines. Today, Advanced Air operates passenger flights to Albuquerque and Phoenix. The airport occupies land measuring 740 acres. It has four runways, only one of which has an asphalt surface and the rest with dirt surfaces. As of 2011, the airport had 4,463 aircraft operations. It is also a base for 19 aircrafts.
