St. Blasien: A Place for All Four Seasons
An appealing resort and spa town on the rise is the St. Blasien, Germany. It is located in the district of Waldshut snuggled in the Southern Black Forest. In the mid-8th century, the town was known as a Benedictine abbey and during the settlement period in the area, the name of the abbey just stuck. It was only in the year 1882 when the town was made famous for being a health resort where the town’s waters were believed to hold therapeutic claims.
Best Time to Visit
St. Blasien is partly cloudy throughout the entire year. While it may be a world-renowned spa and resort town, the sun is barely seen in the area and during winter, the whole land is buried deep in white snow. There is also light to moderate chances of rain every month. It is best to visit the town between June and August when the weather is at most comfortable.
