Sochaux: Sleepy French Town of Historical Significance
Sochaux, France, situated in the Doubs Department, is an industrial town famous for having the Peugeot’s automobile museum. Peugeot is a luxurious French brand for cars. It is also the same company which helped the country build weapons and tanks during the Second World War. The town is also fairly known for its sports industry. There are numerous stadiums and fields located all over the town. Its natural beauty and historical sites are also remarkable and worthy of a visit.
Best Time to Visit
A short period during the middle of the year is the only time when it is warm over at Sochaux. Otherwise, the weather is fairly cold with moderate to heavy chances of rainfall or snowfall. The ideal time to visit the town would depend on your activities planned as most attractions in town are available for all seasons. If you are not a fan of the cold though, come between June and July when it is the warmest in town. Though do note that there are many tourists during these months and Sochaux hotels are expensive.
