The Shaw Conference Centre is now known as the Edmonton Convention Centre, which is a convention, entertainment, and meeting room situated in Edmonton, Alberta, in Canada. It is a not-for-profit venture, which is managed by Edmonton Economic Development Corporation. It was renamed in 1998 under the naming rights deal for 20 years with Shaw Communications. The facility is then renamed again in 2019 upon the expiration of such rights. The venue has been used for banquets, corporate functions, conventions, but as well as for entertainment purposes such as concerts and dance music events. Consider taking a short drive to some of the closest towns to Edmonton, such as the Old Strathcona and the Spruce Grove.
