Şanlıurfa Airport – SFQ
Known by the IATA code of SFQ and ICAO code of LTCH, Şanlıurfa Airport is a public-use airfield found in the province of Şanlıurfa. It is located just nine kilometers from the southern part of Şanlıurfa, Turkey. Currently, the airfield is no longer operational and has been replaced the Şanlıurfa GAP Airport, a bigger aerodrome located northeast of the town.

Şanlıurfa Airport resides at an altitude of a little over 450 meters above the mean sea level. There is currently one runway in use in the airport, an airstrip covered in asphalt and numbered as 15/33. It spans to a total length of 2,165 meters and a total width of almost 30 meters. Although the airport is now closed, you can still explore the town of Şanlıurfa, along with its neighboring cities.

The town is also served by another airport, Şanlıurfa GAP Airport, which features the longest runway in the country. Within less than eight kilometers from Şanlıurfa Airport, guests can find numerous hotels and accommodations dotting the area.
