Tourists are least likely to visit in November. Every second weekend of September, the Seymour Apple Festival is held for 3 days. It features over 100 vendors, 5K run, apple contests, apple peeling contest, auction, decorated bike contest, Johnny Appleseed contest, parade, among others. Another popular event in the city is Apple Butter Day, which is held every third Saturday of October. It is a fundraising activity of Ozark Mennonite School.
