About EVEN Hotels Rye
Travelers do not need to compromise their wellness needs even if they are thousand miles away from home. They should be able to continue their wellness routine anywhere they are and this is what EVEN Hotels is created for. The hotel brand concept was created by IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) back in 2012, and it is their first fitness and health-oriented brand.
Initially, the company had set to roll out the EVEN Hotels in North America with a goal of 100 hotels in a span of five years. The first Even Hotels to open was in Norwalk, CT in June 2014 with 129 rooms. However, their goal of 100 hotels was not reached as only nine hotels were operational after six years. Today, the brand has a total of 1,361 rooms spread over nine properties are located in Rockville, Maryland, Garment District, Grand Central Terminal, Brooklyn, New York and the latest was in Omaha, Nebraska which opened in 2016.
EVEN Hotels promises its guests to support their wellness needs by providing wellness-savvy staff, healthy food choices, one of a kind fitness experience and relaxing and natural spaces. In order to fulfill that, they use eco-friendly products, their beddings are infused with natural eucalyptus fiber and freshly prepared food that are fully customizable. Another fun fact about the hotel is that their room numbers are all even.
