Rojales: A Quiet Community in Southeastern Spain
Located under the rule of Alicante province, Rojales, Spain is a small village covering a total land area of almost 11 square miles. It occupies a part of the autonomous community called Valencia and houses around 21,000 residents. While there are no major tourist spots developed in the area, you can find a handful of resorts and hotels available for the guests.
Best Time to Visit
Like any other Spanish town, Rojales celebrates a ton of fiestas and events all year-round. You can book your Rojales, Spain hotels in the summer, during which the Moors and Christian Festival is held. This event runs from mid-June to early July, which also happens to be the most active months for the town. If you prefer to enjoy the city without that much crowd, come in the fall during which Rojales host the Fiesta Virgen del Rosario. The fiesta is celebrated between September 15th and October 29th, making it over a month-long activity. The tourist population during these months is low, and that meant cheaper airfare and hotel rates, as well.
