VILLA D'ESTE Group is a group of independent hotels operating with 4-star to 5-star standard. The Villa d’Este became a hotel in 1873 under intensive refurbishing and restoration. The largest stockholder of Villa d’Este, who have acquired the majority ownership in 2007, is the holding company of Finanziaria Lago.

In total, Villa d’Este group has four well known hotels. They have their flagship hotel the neoclassical Grand Hotel Villa. It has 152 exquisite rooms with 5-star graded standard. It is also a member of Leading Hotels of the World.
