About Atlantis Hotels & Resorts Playa Quemada
Atlantis Hotels & Resorts is Kerzner International’s subsidiary. The resort chain branches out all over the best locations in the world. They have establishments in Nassau, Bahamas; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Atlantis KoOlina, Hawaii; and China. The four hotel resorts are not fully owned by the company, though. The Bahamas branch no longer operates under the Kerzner management. It was acquired by Brookfield Assed Management LLC while its operations rest on the hands of Marriot International’s Autograph Collection Hotels. The brand is also somehow new in the Hawaiian and Chinese regions, which shows how the company carefully chooses their location before going for expansion after expansion.
One of the best features of the brand that they only seem to have in the entire hotel and resort business is a large water park on-site. This is called the Aquaventure and was introduced in their first property, the Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas. Aquaventure is a water park with attractions that are not as ordinary as most water parks people know of. The compound has a lazy river-water raft ride called The Current and a Mayan temple slide tower. The aqua park became a hit, which many other brands attempted to copy but failed to accomplish.
