Previously called Leicester Digital Media Centre, Phoenix Arts Centre is a gallery and a cinema that attracts over 200,000 visitors every year. Its main goal is to bring inspiring works to the local community in Leicester. It shows all genres of films, from independent productions to blockbuster Hollywood films. To further its vision, it also hosts various education programs for all ages to help them create their own art. Since it is situated in a large place, it is home to around 37 creative shops and a cafe.  

Another interesting place to go to enjoy arts, music, and plays is the Curve Theater, which features two auditoriums – a 350-seat auditorium and a 970-seat auditorium for bigger crowds. It has hosted popular productions such as Hairspray, Chicago, and The Sound of Music. Additionally, visitors can also check out De Montford Hall, a music and performance space that often hosts the Philharmonic Choir. Those who like to add adrenaline-pumping activities for their trip aside from appreciating arts can also go to Mallory Park and watch a motor race. Kirkby Mallory, where the race circuit is located, is also a good place to do some outdoor activities such as trekking the Tropical Birdland or fishing at the Thornton Reservoir.
