Pantnagar Airport – PGH
Pantnagar Airport is a public airport located in Pantnagar, India. The domestic airport serves the town of Pantnagar and the nearby district of Udham Singh Nagar. Owned by the local government, it is operated by the Airports Authority of India. It is also used by the Indian Meteorological Department. Working under the IATA Code of PGH and the ICAO code of VIPT, the airport sits at an elevation of 764 feet above mean sea level. Its coordinates are 29°01′56″N 079°28′27″E. There is one runway and it measures 4,500 feet. It is close to a number of tourist attractions including Jim Corbett National Park.

Before the runway was lengthened in 2008, the airport was only able to accommodate small aircrafts. It is served by a number of airlines that operate regularly scheduled flights to and from Pantnagar. In 2015, it was announced that in addition being a commercial hub, the airport would be increasing its cargo capacities. The runway was further lengthened. Some of the airlines that operate regularly scheduled flights to the airport include Alliance Air, Air Heritage, Deccan Charters, and SpiceJet. Cities, towns, villages, and suburbs found near the airport include Pangot, Sattal, Sigri Village, and Sukha.
