About Minor Hotels O'Halloran Hill
Minor Hotels is an international hotel manager of several renowned brands in the hospitality industry. They operate the likes of Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, St. Regis, Minor International, etc. The group was established in 1978 by American businessman, William Heinecke. The first hotel under this management was opened in Pattaya and is now known as the Pattaya Marriot Resort & Spa. In 1988, one of their further expansions named Royal Gardens Resorts made it to the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The rest of their early expansions took place in the Thai market with their first property Anantara Hotel, Resorts, & Spas was launched in the Thai seaside town of Hua Hin in 2001.
In 2016, Minor Hotels marked its 15th year in the industry. By this time, they had 35 hotels all over Asia, the Middle East, the Indian Ocean, and Africa. The brand really specializes in developing accommodations in locations that have high level of tourism. The brand has reached a global success in the parts of the world wherein many environmental issues are continuously being raised for awareness. This motivated the brand to engage in foundations that preserve the wildlife, help the rehabilitation of coral reefs, and improve their sustainability.
