Nanyang: A Natural Playground With An Unspoiled Ecosystem

June, July, and August are particularly rainy in Nanyang, China, so if you can, skip these months when you’re scheduling a trip to the city. Instead, visit Nanyang between December and February when the chances of rain are the lowest and it’s not too hot either.
What to Do & Area Attractions
Head to the Funiu Shan World Geology Park, which is a geopark with an ecosystem so diverse and pristine that UNESCO named its Baotianman Natural Museum as a “World Biosphere Reserve.” The geopark also features the Xixia Dinosaur Relics Park that has been the site of more than 1,000 dinosaur egg fossil discoveries. Go to the Nanyang Memorial Temple of Wuhou, which pays tribute to iconic statesman and military strategist Zhuge Liang. The Painting Museum of Han Dynasty is also a great stop to browse through the thousands of famous Chinese-style works from the past. Other great tourist spots in the city include Baihe Ecogeographic Wetlands Park, Neixiang County Government Museum, White Stork River Drifting, and more.
