Magnitogorsk International Airport is a Russian airport in Bashkortostan, Russia particularly 11.8 miles west of Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk Oblast. The airport handles mid-sized aircrafts and is operated by FSUE “Magnitogorsk Air Enterprise”. It serves the industrial city of Magnitogorsk and its nearby city Magnitnoye. Magnitogorsk is the second largest city in Russia and is named after an iron rich Magnitnaya Mountain. It is a place where Europe and Asia meet as the city occupies both continents.

Magnitogorsk International Airport has a concrete runway measuring 3,250 meters. It can handle aircrafts of any size up to oversized jumbo jets. It handles the airlines namely Aeroflot, Nordwind Airlines, Pobeda and Ural Airlines, which serve routes like Moscow-Sheremetyevo and Simferopol with some seasonal flights in Antalya and Sochi which just began last 2019. The airport has 50 flights on 18 different routes. The airport served 193,175 passengers in 2017. It is known to be an efficient airport by its guests with a friendly staff, and a smooth check-in and baggage claim process. It does not have a food place but drinks are available for passengers who might need it.
