Mhamid or M'hamid is a village located in the region of Zagora in Morocco. It is one of the towns where the Sahara Desert starts. This town was the former Sidi Khalil, which is the place where trade caravans congregate and stock up before heading to far-flung destinations, such as Timbuktu.
