Magazzini: Indulging Yourself in Italy’s Rich Culture
Known for its beaches, Magazinni, a tiny village in Tuscany located on Elba Island, is about 4.9 miles from Portoferraio. The Magazzini Beach stretches for a hundred meters from Schiopparello-le Parade Beach an essential to salt shipments in the past. Due to its shallow waters during the summer, one can barely swim on it. Bars, restaurants, a sailing school, and a diving center are options available near the beach.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit Magazzini, Italy is from April 9 to November 4. The weather here can reach as high as 28.4°C in the middle of July. The international music festival of Elba Sonica happens in Elba Island, where people can watch music shows right on the shores of the sea. Truly, this is a scenic view to behold.
What to Do & Area Attractions
Not too far from the beaches exists the Arcipelago Toscano National Park Visitors Centre, a suitable place for immersing in Magazinni’s rich culture and heritage. Bastioni Medicei, on the other hand, provides the best view for the entirety of Portoferraio. Climbing or riding a bike to get there is within your discretion. There is also a nine-hole golf course called the Acquabona Elba Golf Club.
With the coastal panorama of Elba Island, the Hotel Villa Ottone remains to be every tourist’s preferred accommodation over the years. One should not miss the hotel's restaurant, outdoor pools, and access to a private beach.
