The Konya Airport is a joint public and military airport in Konya, Turkey. The military air base has an IATA airport code of KYA, and is also commissioned by the North Atlantic Alliance. As a public airport, the KYA-Konya airport served a little over 262,000 passengers in 2006. The airport opened in 2000 to operate commercial flights, and has seen several redevelopments to accommodate five times more passengers over the past decade. As a military airbase, the Konya Airport is home to the Bandirma, Balikesir, Akara Ankinci, Eskisehir, and 3rd Air Wing of the nation’s air force.

The KYA-Konya’s terminal sits on 2,650 square meters of land, and features a parking space for at least 278 vehicles. An additional terminal was constructed in 2015 to welcome the surge of tourists. Airlines that operate from the KYA-Konya Airport include Turkish Airlines, SunExpress Deutschland, Pegasus Airlines, Atlas Global, and AnadoluJet. From the Konya Airport, travelers can easily access the neighboring cities of Konya and Sille Subasi.
