Tinson Pen Aerodrome is one of the largest domestic airports in Kingston, Jamaica. Located near a major highway, this public airport is operated by the Airports Authority of Jamaica. The airport is also located near the residential community of Portmore, and the port - Kingston Free Zone. KTP- Tinson Pen Aerodrome caters mostly business travellers. The airport is one of the most important transportation links between Montego Bay and Kingston. KTP Airport used to have scheduled passenger services in the airport via the International AirLink and Air Jamaica Express.
Best Time to Visit
Tinson Pen Aerodrome has an elevation of 5 meters above mean sea level. It has a single asphalt runway with a size of 4,200 feet by 100 feet. A 100LL fueling station is also available in the airport. Night flight operations are also served in the airport. AirLink Express offers domestic charter flights from the airport to several other registered aerodromes across Jamaica. Discovery Bay is one of the best places to visit near the airport. It is a great destination where you can enjoy adventure and nature tours as well as spend time doing water activities.
