Kasese Airport – KSE Airport
Kasese Airport in Kasese, Uganda is a public and civil airport operated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Uganda. It is 959 meters above mean sea level and serves the municipalities and towns located in the Western Region of the country. KSE Airport is located at the foothills of the stunning Rwenzori Mountains and sits a few kilometers away from the Democratic Republic of the Congo international border. Kasese Airport is located 162 miles away from Entebbe International Airport, the largest airport in Uganda.

KSE is categorized as a upcountry airport under the CAA and also an airport that handles cross-border air traffic from areas under the East African Community. This is one of the main promoters of tourism in the eastern region of Africa. It currently has a single runway that measures 1,600 meters long and 30 meters wide. Plans for renovations and improvements, mostly widening the runway are about to be implemented in the airport in the future. Fort Portal, the Tourism Capital of Uganda is located close to this airport.
