The company was formed in order to assist tour operators and helps provide a solid structure for the tourist industry in the Gambia. Headquartered in the capital Banjul, Gambia Tours had collaborated with around twenty-five hotels and lodging options, with accommodations ranging from the basic but chic boutique hotels to five-star properties like Coco Ocean Resort & Spa.
