Kariba: A Treasure of Kariba Dam
Kariba, Zimbabwe is a town in Mashonaland West. It is situated on Lake Kariba, a reservoir of the Kariba Dam. It was founded for the workers building the dam in the mid-20th century.

The best time to visit Kariba is during April through August, for the perfect weather. The busiest months are usually January, June, and November. Tourists are least likely to visit the town in March, while Kariba Zimbabwe hotels tend to be inexpensive.

Mana Pools National Park is one of the most well-known attractions in the area. It is a wildlife conservation site declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.
