Best Time to Visit
The latest terminal in the airport is the new terminal inaugurated back in September 2015. It was built by Larsen and Tourbo and is considered to be one of the eco-friendly terminals in India. There are plenty of greens inside and outside the airport creating a botanical garden vibe in the area. The old terminal is now being currently used by the flying club as well as the VIPs served in the airport. When exploring nearby areas, head to Kahrar also known as the “Greater Mohali” one of the best tourist destinations in the region.
