Formigine: Small Town by the River in Modena
Formigine is a small town located in the province of Modena in Emilia-Romagna, Italy. It traces its history all the way back to 1201 where the foundation of its castle was built to protect the commune from Reggio Emilia. This was due to a war over the control of waters that connect to the river Secchia. Given its close proximity to the Modena city center, visitors can find Formigine accommodations like RMH Modena Des Arts perfect half-way resting points when travelling between the two areas.
