End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center is an interpretative center located in Oregon City, Oregon. Through costumed guides and interactive exhibits, visitors can learn about the journey of pioneers in the mid-1800s. The center is composed of several buildings under giant wagon frames. Several hands-on exhibits are explained by costumed guides who described the challenges of cross country trekking. Children travelers can get their hands-on experience by playing dress-up, packing a real wagon, and even created pioneer crafts. Other activities include Candle Making and art crafts. At the start of the journey, there is a Bound for Oregon video presentation that immerses visitors with different stories, which explains why the city became the end of the trail. There is also a country store that sells local goods and souvenirs.
Lenox and Orenco are some of the surrounding cities near the center. Another closest historical site is the Museum of Historical Territory. It is a regional treasure that overlooks Willamette Falls. Another attraction is the North Clackamas Aquatic Park is about 12 minutes away from the center, which offers recreational and entertainment opportunities for children.
