ENCETUR Tourism Center, Fortaleza, Brazil
The ENCETUR Tourism Center is located in Fortaleza, the capital of Ceara in northeastern Brazil. The center is also referred to as the Centro de Turismo do Ceara. ENCETUR is a thrift shopping center that used to be a prison back during Brazil’s colonial period. The building was since abandoned and turned into a center where local merchants could sell their goods, like clothes, bags, handicrafts, and more.
