About JA Hotels Dubai World Central
JA Resorts & Hotels is one of the oldest hotel chains in Dubai, which first opened its doors in 1981 with the opening of Dutco Hotels. The chain formerly known as Jebel Ali International Hotel was named after its parent company which was formed in 1947. Its opening was supported by His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
JA Resorts & Hotels currently owns and operates two state of the art resorts in Dubai hailed as the first of their kind in the Arabian Gulf. They are namely, Jebel Ali Hotel and Hatta Fort Hotel. They paved the way for the rapid development of Dubai as a world-class tourist destination. Other five-star properties in its Dubai portfolio include JA Lake View Hotel, JA Beach Hotel, JA Palm Tree Court, JA Ocean View Hotel, JA Oasis Beach Tower, and the cruise vessel Bateaux Dubai. All these assets provide high-end and unique products and services while maintaining their Arabian heritage.
The group led by Chief Executive Officer Anthony Ross also has operations abroad including JA Manafaru in the Maldives and JA Enchanted Island Resort in Seychelles. It has recently announced massive growth including expansionary plans in Tanzania, China, and beyond.
