Dauin has the best weather during the months of February through March and May through June. Peak tourist season is usually during the months of January, May, and September. Tourists are least likely to visit in June. Every second week of September, the famous Kinaiyahan Festival is held. It is a celebration of the municipality’s bountiful nature as well as the conservation of natural resources. It is a thanksgiving festival that honors the abundant harvest in the agricultural and marine landscapes.
