Broadway Center for the Performing Arts or today known as the Tacoma Arts Live is a theater situated in the historic Theatre District of downtown Tacoma, Washington. It manages the largest network of theatres between Washington, Seattle, and Portland, Oregon, which comprises the Rialto, Pantages, and Theatre on the Square. The center has served as the anchor performing arts since 1979.Broadway Center for the Performing Arts provides a vibrant mix of performances and lectures plus an award winning nationally acknowledged set of educational programs that influence child development and citizenship through arts. It also offers active stewardship of the city’s historic venues.
For a more rural and scenic experience, tourists can visit the Anderson Island,which is only accessible by boat and provides an array of activities.
