Based in London, it used to be a brewing company called Greenall’s which was started way back in 1762. The company put a halt on brewing in 1991 to concentrate on its hotels and pubs. Currently, De Vere Hotels - which was also at one point called De Vere Venues - has 22 properties located in different parts of England in its portfolio, including five right smacks in Central London.
