BOK Center
The Bank of Oklahoma Center, or more popularly known as BOK Center, is a multi-purpose facility in Tulsa that can seat around 19,200 people. Built in 2005, this place has been the favorite venue of many major events for basketball, hockey, and football in the city. It has also hosted concerts for many famous artists such as Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, U2, Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Jonas Brothers, and Taylor Swift. Due to its interesting interior and exterior design, this 565,000 square feet facility has become one of the most noticeable icons in the city.
After attending an event at the BOK Center, visitors may want to check out if there is a competition happening at the Tulsa Raceway. Events at this place attract over 88,000 people every year due to the heart-pumping race line-ups that it offers. Tourists who have their kids with them should also spend a couple of hours at the Tulsa Zoo, which is home to Malayan tigers, Chinese alligators, Komodo dragons, and snow leopards. Another child-friendly facility in the city is the Tulsa Geoscience Center that offers educational tours on how fossils are formed and how earthquakes happen. They can also drive up to Catoosa to see the legendary Blue Whale landmark. To stay close to these entertainment and educational facilities, visitors can book a room at the Hampton Inn & Suites Tulsa Downtown where guests can relax at its fitness center and heated indoor pool. Alternatively, they can also spend a night at Aloft Tulsa Downtown – an award-winning hotel at the center of the city. This hotel sometimes holds special events such as a cirque show for the enjoyment of its guests.
