About Hesperia Hotels Belunza
Hesperia hotels is a brand working under the NH Hotels after the two companies decided to merge their business back in 2009. NH Hotels started managing the Hesperia brand since 2010. Hotels from these brands are divided into three categories, the NH Collection Hotels, NH Hotels and NHOW. Mainly created to cater to the needs of the business and leisure travelers, Hesperia hotels offers an escape from the daily work and a great place to enjoy and spend the holidays.
With over 40-years of experience in the business, Hesperia has now over 350 hotels in 28 markets in several international destinations such as Barcelona, Berlin, Rome, Vienna, Bogota, Mexico City and London, to name a few. However, this growth did not initially came into the company. Its nationwide growth started in the late 1980s and continued from then on.
Hesperia entered the international market in 2004 and aggressively launched 240 new hotels with 35,000 rooms in 18 different countries in Europe, Africa and Latin America. By 2006, the company managed to acquire the Framon and Jolly hotel chains making it a leader in the Italian hotel and accommodation market. Hesperia under NH Hotels was awarded the Best Place to Work in Spain and received the prestigious Prince Felipe Award for Excellence in Tourism in 2006.
