About Rixos Hotels Belek
Luxury hotel chain Rixos Hotels is a brainchild of FettahTamince. It first opened its door in Antalya, Turkey in 2000, but is now headquartered in Dubai with 27 hotels and resorts in various locations in Europe and the Middle East. With more than 10,000 staff, the hotel chain has a presence in Egypt, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Russia, Turkey, the UAE, and Ukraine. It was the largest chain in the European and East Mediterranean region. All of its properties are known for its signature Turkish bath.
A year before the founding of Rixos Hotels, Tamince partnered with Bayrock Group founder TevfikArif in managing Labada Hotel in Antalya. The Group has developed seven of the waterfront resorts of Rixos Hotels. He also worked with some Russian investors in unofficial joint ventures. Rixos Hotels achieved a milestone of opening 14 properties in just a decade and has risen to prominence after it hosted the Turkish Prime Minister and President during their vacations. In 2014, it moved its headquarters from Turkey to Dubai.
Just last year, the Turkish hotel chain opened its first resort in Abu Dhabi. Moving forward, Rixos Hotels plans to add 13 more hotels before 2020 ends. It also intends to grow its presence in the Gulf Cooperation Council.
