Batang Kali: Bi-Cultural Bedroom Town

Batang Kali prevails with a tropical climate where there are distinct dry and wet seasons. It is best to visit the town for some outdoor activities between June and August when there are lower chances of moderate to heavy rainfall. These are also the months with higher tourist turnout and more expensive Batang Kali hotel rates. Although honestly, the town can be enjoyed year-round.

There are no immediate hotels and accommodations within the vicinity of Batang Kali. However, just about half an hour away at Genting Highlands, you will find the 3-star Hotel Seri Malaysia Genting Highlands. Your other best options would be the budget-friendly Hotel Casavilla Rawang and the high-class Resorts World Awana. Marvel at the huge collections of orchids at World of Phalanopsis Orchid Farm, Malaysia’s second biggest orchard nursery. Other farm sites in Batang Kali include the Guava and Bee Farm where you can harvest both all by yourself. Immerse yourself in authentic Hokkien lifestyle when you visit the colorful temple called Fu Chuan Miao. They sometimes host festival in said temple.
