Barretos: Home of Largest Annual Rodeo Show
Barretos, Brazil is in the north-central part of the state of Sao Paulo. It is lying in the Pardo River. The town is about 522 meters above the sea level and this elevation adds to the charm to the place. Barretos is also known as Amaral dos Barretos, Espírito Santo de Barreto, and Espírito Santo dos Barretos. The once a settlement was given a town status and even made the main seat. It was known to have the biggest cattle market and this is also where the largest annual rodeo is held. The nearest airport is Sao Jose Do Rio Preto Airport (SJP) which is an hour away.

The most popular attraction is the Barretos Country Water Park. There are quite a number of churches in Barretos.
