The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is classified as Class C airport located in Austin, Texas. It is located in the downtown area of Austin with two runways and helipads. AUS airport is also where the Bergstrom Air Force Base is located. The airport got its name from Captain John August Earl Bergstrom. He is an officer during the war. The airport is now Austin’s major airfield. It replaces the Robert Mueller Municipal Airport. Based on the statistics, this is considered one of the busiest airports in the state of Texas. In fact, it is serving around 500 arrivals and departures mainly coming from Europe and North American region.
