Hotel ElFuerte, the first hotel of the chain of Fuerte Hotels, was established in Marbella, Malaga and Andalusia, Spain. It was built next to the ruins of ElFuertede San Luis (Fort San Luis), which where the name of the first hotel was derived and later the entire company.
