Ahmednagar: Born From Victory
The small city of Ahmednagar located in the state of Maharashtra, India is a historical site itself. The city was founded by Nizam Shah I, after winning a battle on that particular land in the year 1494 AD. It remains to be filled with historical sites and buildings from the Nizam Shahi period. The city's current state falls short for its underdevelopment compared to neighboring cities, however, the city published a plan of development by the year 2031. Aside from its historical value, Ahmednagar also has great nature sites that are famous and largely visited by tourists like its majestic rivers and waterfalls.
Best Time to Visit
The city suffers intense heat, even drought, especially during the summer. For a better experience, the most ideal time to visit would be between November and March. These months have colder climate that is perfect for scouting the city.

There are a lot of historical monuments and sites to visit, however, the Ahmednagar also holds its own natural spots. The Bhandardara Lake and the Randha Falls are famous tourist spots in the city, with its clear and clean waters that is mostly visited during the monsoon, mostly during the end of August or in September, when waterfalls look the best. For its historical treasures, the Tisgaon Five Stone Gates is a great site to see which was part of the large fortification of the medieval origin during the Nizam Shahi period.
