1st Bank Center
The multi-purpose arena of the 1st Bank Center is situated in Downtown Denver, Broomfield, in Colorado. It opened in the year 2006, with its naming rights from a local institution since 2010. In the metro area, the place caters to mid-sized concerts with 6,500 patron seats. The area has been home to Rocky Mountain Range, Colorado 14ers, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Denver Roller Dolls. The County of Broomfield and the City reveal the plans for the new facility in the year 2005. Through a rocky start, construction started in the year 2006. Six months right after construction started, the management changes causing the delay of the project. After all the pushback, it opened but could not compete with its competitors. It took a major renovation under new management and reopened in 2010. Since then, the arena held various events, shows, and concerts of popular artists.
The arena is close to nearby towns of Boulder, Eldora, and Chautauqua Park Historic District. So locals and tourists enjoy the show being hosted in the facility. Numerous local attractions also surround the area; visitors can check on the Superior Historical Museum. The museum provides learning opportunities that will dust off curiosity. Another is the WOW Children's Museum; this museum engages everyone with the activities and hands-on experiences that will develop creativity and discovery through their exhibits.
