In 2018, Blossom Hill Hotels and Resorts was acquired by the Huazhu Hotels Group, which also operates other well-known hotel brands in China including Hi Inn, Novotel, and Grand Mercure. With the acquisition, the Shanghai-based group currently holds an 82.5 percent stake in the company.
