About African Sun Hotels Lukulu
Established in 1968, African Sun Hotels is a hospitality management company based in Zimbabwe. It operates mainly through their different hotels, casinos, resorts and timeshare operations throughout South Africa and Zimbabwe. The founder of the African Sun Hotels is Shingi Munyeza with their first hotel, the Victoria Falls Hotel. However, in 2008 it was changed to Zimbabwe Sun Limited to incorporate the pan-African ideas. In 2015 their hotels in Nigeria and Ghana was sold and a few months after that Shingi Munyeza left and the new CEO was E.T. Shangwa.
The hotel chain is currently managing eleven hotels namely: Holiday Inn Harare, Holiday Inn Bulawayo, Holiday Inn Mutare, Monomotapa, Troutbeck Resort, Elephant Hills Resort, The Kingdom at Victoria Falls, Hwange Safari Lodge, Great Zimbabwe Hotel, Caribbea bay Resort and Victoria Falls Hotels. Apart from hotels they also have their casinos the Harare Sun Casino and Makasa Sun Casino.
Their hotels are uniquely designed but still incorporates the culture and tradition in Africa. It is a combination of traditional and modern design that will capture your eyes and make your stay worthwhile. Safari tours are also offered for a different kind of experience. There are nearby parks in some of the hotels in case you want to stroll around.
