Crown & Champa Resorts (CCR) is a resort hotel management company in the Republic of Maldives. It is owned by a mix of local and foreign partners, including the Crown Company Pvt Ltd, ChampaBorthers Maldives Pvt Ltd, Kasa Holdings Pvt Ltd, Kuredu Holdings Pvt Ltd, and Komandoo Holdings Pvt Ltd. All these groups have one thing in common - the desire to continuously improve their business performance. Hence, they constantly have new developments, designs, concepts, constructions, and strategies in their operations. Established in 2000 with a portfolio of 5 resorts, the group has definitely come a long way from that beginning of the 21st century.
The international tourism of Maldives increased over the following years, and that unforeseen massive growth prompted the hotel and resort series to expand more. In 2015, as Maldives celebrated its 40th anniversary in the international tourism scene, the Crown & Champa received recognition for contributing to that excellent image that brought Maldives, an underrated island, into the mainstream travel scene.
