City Express Suites Hotels is a Mexican hotel chain founded in 2002. It specializes in offering high-standard, comfortable, and safe stays that lean more towards the domestic business travelers demographic. Currently, the City Express Suites Hotels has 141 hotels spread throughout Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Chile. City Express Suites Hotels has multiple sub-brands, too. They are City Express, City Express Plus, City Express Suites, City Express Junior, and City Centro. These brands represent distinct segments of its target market and locale. In June 2013, City Express Suites Hotels completed its IPO, which allowed them to start trading on the Mexican Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “HCITY”.

On October 8th 2014, City Express Suites Hotels also finished followed on with the goal of boosting its expansion for new establishments in the coming years. On October 24, 2018, they have officially announced their new opening in Cancun Aeropuerto, which would complete the 141 hotel count. That closes 15, 900 rooms in 69 cities and 30 states in all of the mentioned countries. City Express Suites Cancun Aeropuerto has 63 available rooms, and it was constructed under a co-investment model. Due to the booming tourism in Cancun, City Express Suites Hotels is set to increase the revenue of the company; especially that it is accessible to industrial parks and the Cancun International Airport.
